If your firm is buying legal leads or just using eLuminate, eGen’s case and management software, you’ll need to schedule an eLuminate tutorial. This is completely free and you can have as many members of your team as you want on the demo. But why is this tutorial important? In your free eLuminate tutorial, you’ll learn exactly how the web-based software can help your firm. Here are some things to prepare for your eLuminate demo:
#1: Know how you want to use the software.
This is easily the most important thing you can prepare before your eLuminate tutorial. If you know how you want to use eLuminate, our Client Services team can show you exactly which features are most helpful for your firm.
If you’re only interested in using eLuminate to manage your leads, we can show you how to use eLuminate as your intake form, how to import leads from other sources, how to generate documents for electronic signature to prospective clients, and how to migrate to a lead-management software by uploading documents and importing contacts.
If you’re more interested in the case management side of eLuminate, we can show you how to convert your leads to cases, how to associate contacts with your pending cases, how to email multiple clients at once, and tracking how much time you spend on one case.
Finally, if you’re not using eLuminate for leads or cases, no problem! Client Services can focus on eLuminate’s homepage, which you can use as your calendar. You can also delegate tasks to your staff, or simply keep track of how much time you spend on your cases for future billing.
#2: Write a list of how you currently process leads and cases
eLumimate is highly customizable, which means that you can modify the software to best suit your needs.
For example, you can use custom fields and custom views to organize your leads and pending cases in whatever priority you wish. For example, you could create a view that shows all leads with outstanding paperwork. If you’re a Social Security attorney, you could create a custom field for whether or not the claimant is applying for SSDI or SSI. If you handle primarily workers’ compensation cases, you could organize your pending cases by upcoming statute of limitations. This way, you’ll never let a potential claim expire again!
#3: Have everyone on your team present for the tutorial.
eLuminate has dozens of features, so it can be confusing to try to relay all the information you’ve learned to other members of your staff after the tutorial. Fortunately, the platform we use for tutorials (join.me) allows multiple users to log into the tutorial and view the presentation. If you have an employee working from home, he or she will still be able to learn about eLuminate!
And if you do have someone miss a tutorial, no problem. All of eGeneration’s client services and assistance is free, and we’ll help you with whatever you need. We would be happy to set up another tutorial to fill your staff in on eLuminate.
