You can pause and resume the leads at any time, with notice of 2 business days.

What is your refund policy?

We always refund leads with an out of service phone number, duplicate leads sent by eGen, or obvious spam (i.e., if someone submits the form as Mickey Mouse). Everything else is handled on a case-by-case basis. We try to be as understanding as possible, but ultimately cannot control whether a claimant fills out the webform accurately.

How do I contest a lead?

You can contest a lead by going to a lead’s eLuminate page and clicking on “More.” From the dropdown menu there, select “Contest.” At that point you can write why you are contesting the lead, and you’ll receive an email with the result in the following days.

Can I send forms to be signed electronically through eLuminate?

We have a number of forms already uploaded in eLuminate that you can send to clients. In order to do so, go to a lead’s page and click “More.” On the dropdown menu select “Generate Documents.” At that point you can select which form(s) you’d like to send and can enter any additional information.

Can I use my own custom documents in eLuminate?

Yes! Contact your account manager if you’d like any custom forms uploaded into eLuminate.

I want to expand the geographical areas I receive leads from, how do I do that?

Reach out to your account manager if you’re interested in opening up your account to more areas. Our system is organized by zip code prefixes (the first three digits of a zip code) and states. If you aren’t sure exactly what zip codes you’re currently set up for, refer back to the Account Configuration your account manager sent when the campaign began.

Billing/Payment

How do I pay for the leads?

We have two choices for payment methods – credit card or of ACH bank transfer/check. Invoices are generated on the 5th and 20th of each month; with credit cards charged automatically and links to pay through QuickBooks sent out to those who pay using ACH/check.

I already supplied a deposit when I started the account, why am I being sent invoices now?

The deposit you paid at the start of the campaign is only used in the event you cancel your account with any unpaid invoices. At that point the deposit is applied to those invoices, and a check for the remainder of the deposit is mailed back to you.

I just got a new credit card; how do I change my payment information with you?

In order to use your new credit card, we require a new Credit Card Authorization form (just like you filled out when providing the previous card). Submit a ticket through eLuminate or reach out to your account manager to receive a copy of the form

shp Fri, 04/23/2021 - 08:54 Fri, 23 Apr 2021 12:54:05 +0000 shp 828 at https://egenerationmarketing.com How Managing a Firm During a Pandemic is like Coaching a Sports Team https://egenerationmarketing.com/blog/managing-firm-like-coaching-sports How Managing a Firm During a Pandemic is like Coaching a Sports Team

Teamwork is Key

It’s no secret that the key to any successful sports team is working together. Teams need a number of players operating in many different roles, and a law firm is no different. Working together is crucial for all organizations at all times, and that necessity increases when a portion (or the entirety) of your staff is working remotely.

Teamwork takes on many forms, but the premier aspect is communication. With many sporting events now taking place without a cheering crowd, oftentimes you can hear the players’ communication while watching the game from your couch. Take some notes from those players, and make sure your firm is set up with multiple levels of communication. Whether it’s using an application like Zoom or Slack, these days you may have to utilize tools beyond emailing or talking in person. A great way to stay in touch with your employees is to have weekly check ins, or potentially sending out surveys to see everyone’s work from home needs.

Have a Playbook

Every great team has a playbook that can take on any opponent. It’s the reason coaches such as Bill Belichick or Gregg Popovich have remained successful for through the years. Law firm operations are similarly reliant on certain procedures and systems. That’s why each firm needs a playbook in order to most efficiently operate its business.

One of the most important weapons in your playbook should be a thorough follow up process for leads. Many claimants aren’t too proactive on their own, so you need to make sure you have a plan in place to ultimately make contact with a prospective client. A firm’s follow up strategy should be catered to their own capabilities, similar to how a coach’s playbook works with the strengths of their roster. Whether it’s daily emails or phone calls, having a plan of action is the best way to fully utilize a lead generation service.

Be Ready to Adapt

While an established system is the best way to ensure your firm’s success, adaptability is just as important. Sports teams have to be ready with backup players if a starter picks up an injury, and firms need to be similarly prepared.

Especially in the world we’re living in today, circumstances and regulations can change at any time. This may require adjustments, such as switching an in-person meeting with a client to a video call or providing flexible hours to help parents who may be dealing with online learning while trying to work from home. This might not sound ideal for every firm, but having a solid backup is certainly preferable to being caught unprepared when the first option falls through. If you don’t have a secondary plan in place for every system, a willingness to at least try is just as helpful.

As 2020 comes to a close and the uncertainty of the pandemic continues, keeping an open mind and taking notes from how other industries, such as sports teams, can help your firm continue its success. Sports organizations use the time in between seasons to retool their roster and adjust their playbook and law firms should take the opportunity to update their systems as we enter the new year.

shp Fri, 12/04/2020 - 09:38 Fri, 04 Dec 2020 14:38:32 +0000 shp 793 at https://egenerationmarketing.com How to Update Lead Results in eLuminate https://egenerationmarketing.com/blog/how-to-update-lead-results How to Update Lead Results in eLuminate

At eGenerationMarketing our goal is always to help our clients succeed with the leads we provide. Of course, there are a number of factors that play into determining how successful lead generation is, but conversion rate is typically at the top of that list. The easiest way to track your conversion rate in eLuminate is by updating the “Results” field on a lead’s page.

Seeing these lead results is beneficial for both us at eGen and for your firm’s internal records. On your end, a quick look through eLuminate will show your conversion rate and cost-per-case. These numbers can provide a quick estimate as to how the service is working for you and your firm and is a great benchmark to see if you want to update your lead package or volume. On the lead generation side, looking at your conversion rate allows us to see which of our campaigns are performing well and make whatever adjustments we need in order to continually provide high quality leads.

The process of updating leads results is quite simple, and I’ll walk you through it here on this blog!

The first step is reaching the list of leads itself, which is done by clicking the “Leads” tab from the homepage.
<img src="/sites/default/files/images/blog/Leads_Screenshot.png" height="150%" alt=“leads"/>

At this point you should see a list of all the leads you’ve received from eGen or added on your own (don’t forget to click Select A View then All Leads!). To access an individual lead’s page, simply click on the blue “Details” button next to the lead’s name.

You should now find yourself on the individual lead’s page. From here you can add notes that might help you keep track of your progress with this lead, add events for any phone calls or meetings, or generate documents for the lead to sign. For the purposes of this exercise, however, all you need to do is click on the blue “Edit” button at the top of the lead’s page.

Now you can edit any aspect of the lead’s information, but all we’re interested in right now is the “Results” field. This field is right at the top of the page, in the “Lead Information” section. Clicking on “Results” will give you a dropdown menu, from which you can choose a number of options denoting where you are in the follow-up process.

All of the leads come in as “Pending,” but can be updated throughout the follow-up process. “Desired” would indicate that you are still in the process of following-up with the lead, but the lead itself is a quality potential. “Signed” is the best-case scenario, as that means this lead turned into a case! There are also a number of options as to why the lead didn’t work out, so feel free to be as specific as possible with these updates.

That’s it! Updating lead results is a simple process that is supremely helpful in monitoring your own firm’s progress and providing eGen with invaluable feedback. There is so much more you can do in eLuminate beyond lead results, so play around in your account. If you ever have any questions about eLuminate, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager!

shp Fri, 05/01/2020 - 13:29 Fri, 01 May 2020 17:29:06 +0000 shp 761 at https://egenerationmarketing.com Unique Employment Laws Around the World https://egenerationmarketing.com/blog/unique-employment-laws Unique Employment Laws Around the World

Have you ever wondered what rights employees have in other parts of the world? While you can't learn everything about foreign employment law here, take a look at some of the more unique regulations from nations across the globe!

Japan

Before diving into the laws themselves, let's make a quick detour to look at one cultural practice in Japan that may sound particularly appealing. Japanese workplaces often allow employees to take naps at their desks, and in fact view these breaks as a sign of hard work. Want to move your practice to Japan now? You should practice sleeping while sitting upright, because often times that's the most acceptable way to indulge in these power naps.

Staying in Japan for some of its actual laws, Japanese workers have surprisingly strict regulations for their physical appearance. A national law requires employers to measure the waistlines of its workers and send the employees to special diet classes if their waistlines are larger than the accepted size. Anyone with a waist size larger than 33.5 inches for men or 35.4 inches for women is in violation of the "Metabo Law."

In one Japanese city it is illegal for any public servant to have a beard. In 2010 the city of Isesaki passed a law barring any of its male employees from sporting facial hair, on the grounds that it made the city's residents uncomfortable.

India

A federal regulation in India requires manufacturing companies with more than 100 employees to consult with the government prior to terminating a worker. Don't worry though, firing an employee in any other sector only requires you to send an official notice to the government beforehand.

Belgium

In Belgium, employees who have worked for a specified length of time are allowed to request a 'career break.' In many cases this break permits an employee to work reduced hours for a few months, but sometimes can be even more freeing. In the public sector, workers may be eligible to step away from their work for up to six years. Even better, workers receive an allowance from the government during this break and are eligible to return to their same job once the break ends.

Bulgaria

Extended breaks are common practice for European nations, with Bulgaria boasting the most generous maternity leave benefits in the world. Bulgarian employees are eligible for more than 55 weeks maternity leave, with 46 of those weeks being paid. Even the worst paid maternity leave in Europe is a far cry from the benefits in the United States, as Sweden still offers 12 weeks of paid leave.

Philippines

If Europe isn’t your cup of tea but you’d still like to take advantage of these foreign laws, you may want to consider moving to the Philippines. The Philippines have a Presidential decree requiring private companies to provide a 13th Month Pay to their employees. This pay is equal to 1/12th of an employee’s yearly salary, and failure to make this payment results in legal action from the Filipino government.

You could spend all day learning about labor laws across the globe, but don’t forget about potential employment cases in the United States. eGen now supplies leads for employment law, so contact us today if you’re looking to increase your caseload!
Sources:
http://www.legacycitizenship.com/infographics/strange-employment-laws/
https://money.cnn.com/2018/01/19/news/economy/countries-most-maternity-leave/index.html
https://kcrecruitment.com/hr-consulting/labor-and-employment/13th-month-pay/
https://www.expatica.com/be/employment/employment-law/labour-law-in-belgium-leave-104637/

shp Fri, 01/17/2020 - 14:31 Fri, 17 Jan 2020 19:31:56 +0000 shp 728 at https://egenerationmarketing.com
